Happy Wednesday! If you clicked on this post, I imagine you watched Bach this week & are wanting more like me! I did a recap on last week’s episode too, so read that here if you want to catch up!
Like last week, there’s a lot to talk about. Before we get into the details, can we just say that this episode was HYSTERICAL? My brother was literally calling us from another city because he thought it was so funny and wanted to debrief it. And he’s not a fan 😉
Hannah & Peter
Surprisingly, Hannah and Peter’s talk didn’t consume much of the episode. Overall, I’m pretty confused about this whole interaction now. Last week when the episode ended, Hannah was “considering” joining the house, and Peter basically wanted her back. This week, he said, “I can’t help feel what I feel.” She even joked that they should just go catch a flight and climbed on his lap (maybe a bit much). I feel like he asked a lot of the right questions throughout this conversation. Then all of a sudden, Peter says he needs to get back to the girls! How did they so quickly get to that? And where did his love for her just go? She never said that she wouldn’t join the house. The ending here seemed SUPER anticlimactic to how dramatic the talk was. It’s just not coming together for me. I feel like she has to show up again at some point, even if not until the last week, just because I don’t see how he went from the emotional point he was at to just saying bye.
Side note – did anyone else realize we never saw the clip from all of the teaser videos when he’s saying her name and looks like he’s about to kiss her? Our guess in my house is that they didn’t show us that because they didn’t want us to see something… they might be hiding some of the convo from us. It apparently seemed like he was gone from the girls for so long, and yet we only see about 20-some minutes of footage from the two of them. We hardly even got ITM info from him. I’m guessing one of two things – either they wanted us to be left open ended (and without all of the info) so that we can still imagine her coming back, or their talk really didn’t amount to much after all. Either way, I’m definitely disappointed with this conclusion!
Finishing the Group Date
I understand that it would really suck to be the other girls on this date. When he came to talk to them, it almost sounded like he was about to quit the whole thing! I can’t imagine this moment. But in my opinion, some these girls got a little out of line. I’m talking about Natasha, pretty much. She was so outspoken and rude, when clearly he’s just trying to deal with a lot of emotions and his life. That’s not an easy task! They’re all so annoyed and saying he just needs to let it go, and she’s his past. I don’t think they’ve been around long enough yet to have an opinion like that. Give him some time! If I were Peter, I would’ve sent Natasha home just because she’s sassy and rude. And self-centered. I know she’s the oldest in the house, but she acted so immature on this whole date, in my opinion.
On a different note, I LOVE Mykenna! This was her week to connect with Peter!! She seems to sweet and kind to the other girls. Peter seemed to really, really like her!! I’m a fan!!
Before we talk about Kelsey, I just want to note that Peter and Madi were so sweet together again! She’s so giggly and happy around him.
Okay, I’m not really sure where to begin with Kelsey. It seems like this is just a bit much for her. She had a lot of built up anger and threw it all on Mykenna. Poor girl! She sat there and took it and clearly did not mean for anything to happen. I didn’t really have an opinion on Kelsey prior to this, but now I know I have no respect for her. She’s so mean! My sister and I suddenly would do anything to protect Mykenna, lol.
As if that weren’t enough Kelsey drama… This champagne event was like no. other. I’m still laughing thinking about the it. This whole thing got blown so out of proportion. Can I just say that we’ve never seen Bach producers do something so savage? This was a new level, lol! They just created all that drama by prompting the champagnes, and they had the perfect people to carry it out. This whole thing put me on Hannah Ann’s team. I wasn’t a fan last week, but now I feel for her! I don’t think any of this was her fault, and she really did get screamed at for it. Kelsey reacted like a complete child.. she should’ve taken the opportunity to have time with Peter when he came for her! And she also could’ve redeemed herself with a casual toast at the end of the night, but she just couldn’t be a good sport about it.
I’m SOO jealous!! This date was so fun. I don’t have much to say about this date, except that I’m still liking Hannah Ann. And Mykenna had the perfect amount of confidence.
Peter also clearly likes to be the caretaker. I agree that it’s endearing for someone to not be “good” at being on the show, but I just feel like it’s a lot of drama with Victoria F. She says she’s so insecure and nervous, and I feel that with her (how could you not be? this is an intimidating group!), but I just feel like there’s a lot more going on there. It’s hard to believe all of the things she says when she seems a little whiney and throws tantrums.
That’s all that I’m thinking on this week’s episode! How about you guys?
