Hey, friends!!! Peter and his girls are already back for another week! I pretty much love Mondays during Bach season. What a great reason to be excited for a Monday!
This date was cute! It’d be fun to share your time with Peter right in his hometown and doing things he loves. I thought for a few minutes it was going to be one of those dates where you introduce he introduces the girl to all of his friends! But it wasn’t, so that’s probably good.
I love Victoria!! She’s been a fave of mine since the first night, and I bet a lot of you are feeling that too! She definitely has had a lot of hardship in her life and has truly become a lovely person after it all. Props to her for getting to where she is in life! But…. does anyone else think she and Peter don’t seem meant to be? I’m not feeling it 100%. With a lot of the girls, I think he’s super quick to tell them how into them he is, and he’s giving Victoria good affirmation, too, but maybe not in the same way? He does seem to like her a lot. I’m not sure! When we as viewers are comparing his connection with each girl back to back, it’s somewhat obvious when he seems really into someone more than someone else. Just wondering if they’re not perfect for each other.
Pillow Fight Date
Soooo now we can dive into the Alayah drama.
I was kinda liking Alayah up to this point. She seemed sweet and didn’t have any bad attention on her. That all changed tonight! Okay. Where did this personality switch just come from? Was it a switch, or has she been so fake this whole time? She went from pretty normal to seriously annoying. Normally whenever someone mentions the girl who is the type of person they have always “tried not to surround themselves with,” it’s been an obviously annoying player for a while. Alayah just shifted from having a probably normal/nice fanbase to being the really annoying girl in the house who no one wants to hang out with. Her personality this episode is the type of person who I just have no interest in watching on Bach.
I’ll admit, I wasn’t liking Sydney as of last week. But when she was the most annoyed with Alayah, I started to feel a kinship with her. Typically, telling the Bachelor about the annoying girl in the house doesn’t go very far. You kinda had to guess that would be different this season, though. Peter has loved the bold girls. He rewards them for things I would want people to go home for. When he called Sydney out in the group, I felt so TERRIBLE for her. That is like the most awkward moment ever, especially when NONE of the girls sided with her. I will say, she was probably the best person for that to happen to. She handled it like a champ. And clearly, it paid off. Not sure if that were the best way for Peter to handle that, though.
The drama continues. There has been like an unhealthy amount of drama in these three episodes. It’s so much that I feel like we’re missing out on some of the great moments just because so much screen time goes to the drama. That’s disappointing.
I’m proud of the girls for bringing more attention to the Alayah subject. I didn’t want Sydney to be on her own with that.
There’s always someone that pulls the lead’s mind off of the drama. Right now, it’s definitely Madison. He probably feels like he can escape it all when he’s with her. Are you guys liking them together? I wonder if their connection would be where it is if she hadn’t gotten that first one on one. Seems like it truly catapulted them from the start!
There’s also usually one person they trust the opinion of so much. Victoria P! Their connection is definitely on a deep level, so this isn’t surprising. Maybe he really is into her?
The fact that he sent Alayah home for all of this is prettyyyy amazing. Serious thanks to Peter for not making us watch her for the next several weeks. My best guess is that he sent her home because of his experience on Hannah’s season. Clearly, she battled heart and head with Luke for WEEKS, even while just about every guy begged her to send him home. As a result, it kind of just got worse and worse, but she probably wouldn’t have ever gotten that closure she needed all of those weeks later. Now I’m feeling like this is a very similar situation with Peter, but he chose head over heart. Hopefully that won’t nag at him for awhile.
Buuuut apparently Alayah comes back next week, so we’ll see. Do ya think he asks her to come back, or she brings herself back?
