Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope you’re all having a great week. I’m ready to recap another week of Peter’s love journey!! Comment what your thoughts are after seeing this week’s episode and the previews for the rest of the season!
This week seems to be one of the more impactful / noticeable weeks within the Bach seasons. The trend these days is to have 3 one on ones, specifically with two shoe-ins and one questionable person, then have a fun little three on one date.
I wasn’t super pumped about Madison when this date started. I think the hype Bach Nation has for her has affected my opinion, simply because I feel like we’ve hardly met her, but people are obsessed with her. That tends to happen with whoever gets the first one on one… I feel like that person usually doesn’t make it all the way to the end because they kinda get forgotten about, ya know? Not a fact just a feeling, haha.
The day portion of the date seemed cute enough, though I still feel like I hardly know her. But once the evening began, I really got into it. I loved hearing Madison talk about her faith. I love seeing faith represented well on this show because we have definitely seen it in a negative light, i.e. Luke P. Madison showed such a respectable aspect of being a Christian, in my opinion. I also totally related to her after this date. We seem to have a lot of the same qualities on our lists for our future husbands. If I am correct in assuming we are alike, I know that it’s a MAJOR deal for the guy to be a faithful man. Your lifelong relationship needs to be someone who will push you in your faith and want to bring up your children in that lifestyle. So if it were me, I wouldn’t be totally comfortable with Peter’s response. It’s totally legit for him to say he wants to grow in his faith and that she inspires him in that, but Madison probably wants more than that in a husband. She can’t spend the next x amount of time trying to bring Peter up to her level of faith and not push herself in her own walk. Anyway, I just feel like for someone like Madison who values Christianity as the forefront of life, Peter’s possibly not the right husband. Apparently, though, hearing that he would like to grow, oh, and that he’s falling in love with her, is enough. I was honestly pretty surprised she was content with that response. Maybe she believes she can work on that with Peter. Maybe the sound of hearing him fall in love with her was plenty to make her happy. Not sure. But I will say, I am a Madison fan for sure now! And I definitely think we got to see her personality this episode.
Do you guys see a connection between them?
I honestly have no thoughts on this date, lol. I wasn’t a huge Natasha fan from day one and thought Sydney should’ve been here this week instead. We see her go home, though, so now there’s another rose available!
Can I just say that Kelsey is so. pretty. She has an interesting nature about her that interests me. She’s kinda low energy but also excited and fun… I can’t really describe it. I thought her date went well! They seem very natural together and like they can talk about anything. It’s also fun to see conversation progress in the relationship; we heard about her family on the last date, and now she takes it further and shares intimate details about her life with Peter. She’s clearly comfortable with him.
What do you guys think? Is she top two? Do you think she thinks she’s the one?
My opinion of Kelley has just gotten worse and worse each week. She was one of my top picks at the beginning! I think I mentioned, though, that Peter might get caught up by the fate idea that they met before the show. He mentioned that this week! I totally see how that could happen. It’s easy to fall in love with the idea of someone.
I’m trying to be really careful with my thoughts on Kelley. I KNOW that this is reality tv, and the producers are really good at their jobs. I know Kelley has been one of the more sane and reasonable people here for the last two months. She calls out the show for being pretty crazy and an unlikely place to find a husband. I am bothered by the amount of people who are still saying she’s perfect and can do no wrong. While I agree that editing is so prevalent, she still said the things she said. She acts like she is way too good for this place, and she knows it. She’s being honest with Peter saying she just wants to have fun, but to him, that’s an insult to this process and to him. He truly believes in this and wants to fall in love, and she can’t stop laughing about it. She said “I’m an attorney, what are they?” I just think that when people on Bach say things like that, we should realize that those words did come out of their mouths at some point. The producers might’ve gotten them to say it, but it’s deep down in there somewhere. I just think she was pretty rude and annoying this episode. I wouldn’t want her around at this point.
Victoria bothers me in a similar way. The only thing that makes it better is that she’s somewhat aware of how she is. We’ve heard her say on several accounts that Peter doesn’t deserve her acting that way, or that she’s already in a bad mood and knows she’s being annoying. I just cannot grasp how Peter thinks this is fun. I’m sure he’s attracted to her and has a special liking for taking care of her. They just fight constantly! I think Peter did hold his own a little better in this conversation. In normal relationships, they’d be on like the third date and already quit hanging out because it’s like wasting time. Things should still be easy at this point. I can’t imagine what their fights would look like once they’ve been together for a long time and had real things to fight about.
I also just still think Victoria has two sides to her. She is also like never even pleasant. I feel like I wouldn’t really enjoy spending time with her.
Hannah Ann is probably my favorite at this point. I love it. Her list was so cute. I think it’s sweet when they do stuff like that. We also saw some real emotion from her tonight! I can imagine how overwhelming the whole day was.
That’s where I’m at this week. The previews for the rest of the season look BIG. I’m pretty excited now. What’re your thoughts?
