Hellllooooo friends & happy Tuesday! I am sooo excited to be writing this post right now because it is all things Bachelorette. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you could probably have figured out by now that I am truly OBSESSED with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and everything in between. Last night I checked with y’all about how you felt about a regular series here on the blog about The Bachelor so we could chat. You all seemed to really love the idea, so here we are!!
I am so happy to finally see Garrett getting some positive screen time! I feel like they weren’t really showing him to us until a week or so ago, but it was just him involving himself in the Luke drama. Meh.
He is so sweet to her!! I think you could really tell he was super scared to bungee jump, but he looked so casual and like it wasn’t a bother at all. I can’t remember the last time Bach people went completely naked other than when Ben Flagnik went skinny dipping with Courtney. I definitely do not want to relive that!!
The evening session of the date seemed really sweet and real. I’m so glad Garrett finally asked some honest questions that we’ve been waiting to hear. Hannah was SPOT ON last week when she complained that no one knows anything about her. I feel like at this point in the season, we usually have some more insight into several personalities. She really deserves them asking about her and courting her and all those other sweet signs that they actually care to know her.
I also have to add that my dad watches with us and was SO excited to see the guys’ reactions to Garrett’s date. He’s a big Luke opponent (aren’t we all?).
When Hannah kissed Jed during the early part of the date….. woah. I usually really love those sweet, random moments on this show, but I am not the biggest Jed fan. I just want a little more spunk from him! But when the Bachelor or Bachelorette takes a moment like that on a group date, you know it’s real.
Is Tyler not the sweetest guy ever?! I am continually surprised by how much I love him every. single. week. So cute of him to buy her flowers.
Luke.. please go home. I cannot listen to one more word from this guy!!!! He needs to think about his words before he blurts them out. So disrespectful to Hannah. I also was so bothered when he noted that no one would have wanted to be on that naked bungee jump with Garrett. Luke just can’t handle the fact the Hannah has interest in other people and that Luke is not the only man! I’m so tired of this drama. It’s pretty obvious that Hannah really has feelings for him and is unable to send him home just yet… her heart is totally taking over in this battle! I feel for her. He definitely had some charm in the beginning, but now I just wish she could realize that all of their time spent together is negative.
SO HAPPY to see a full date of just Peter. He is for sure in my top two (right there with Tyler). I find it so interesting when the Bachelorette has such a strong connection with someone long before they even have a one-on-one. Peter is definitely that guy this season!
I am just constantly cracking up over Hannah!! She is the funniest. I think this is why I was so annoyed with the past few episodes being so drama-filled. We missed out on so much happy Hannah and how hysterical she is.
Love that the one-on-ones’ dinners are finally serious. It took a long time this season! I think Hannah and Peter have such a great connection.
I reallllllyyyyy do not like when someone goes to find the Bachelorette in her hotel room, because it’s often someone we don’t like! This time it was Jed, which I’m sure some of y’all really loved. I want to love it!! For some reason, I just am not into it. But his moment was really sweet, and you can for sure see how much Hannah likes him. I guess I just would like to see him be more open and loving toward her. He kinda comes off to me as having an overly confident demeanor.
Garrett – why start more drama?! I can’t keep defending you when you do this!
I LIVE for these strong Hannah moments. You know it’s serious when she won’t even walk next to the guy. I was so happy to see her come back to the terrible Luke comments and put him in his place. BUT, I really do wish he could own up to his words. Just once. He unendingly denies the things he said and twists his words! No wonder Hannah can’t figure out what to do.
How funny was it when Luke said “I’ll just get started… that’s it.” He’s not going to tell them anything? .. hahaha.
Yet again Tyler is perfect!! How does he know every right thing to say without sounding disingenuous? I just can’t get enough of him.
Finally… the rose ceremony when the last few guys you never learned the names of go home. They were sweet, but not quite perfect for Hannah. 🙂
That’s all for this episode!! I hope you all enjoyed a post in this new series! Check back next week for some more of my thoughts about Hannah and her guys!!
